Become a foster carer

Puppy factory survivors aren't like "normal" dogs. They require specialist care, and may take longer than other dogs to rehabilitate. Sometimes, they never fully recover from the trauma they have experienced.

Rescue groups across the country are doing an incredible job taking on dogs surrendered by puppy farmers, but it can often be difficult to find suitable foster carers and long term homes for them.

That's why we're in the early stages of establishing a foster care database, so that we can assist rescue groups to find homes for these beautiful but damaged dogs. It will also assist to train foster carers, and equip them with the knowledge and specialist skills to foster puppy factory dogs.

If you are interested in becoming a foster carer, please register your interest below and we will be in touch with details of an upcoming foster care information session.

Please note: At this stage we are opening the database in Victoria only. Please do not enter an expression of interest if you are interstate.
